About
The Tap Intensive, founded by Amy Eileen of Lancaster PA, is an intensive dedicated entirely to the art of tap! It offers week long workshops in skills, technique, musicality, improvisation, tap jams, creating and learning choreography.
The mission of The Tap Intensive is to provide an environment for tap dancers to come together, train, create, have opportunities to grow and to be a part of the positive growth and appreciation of tap dancing in the community for today's dancer and many generations of dancers to come.

Level Descriptions
Beginner Level - 0 to 4 years experience:
Dancers work on the fundamental skills and steps for a solid Tap foundation. Introduction to basic musicality.
Advanced Beginner Level - 3 to 6 years experience:
Dancers have a good mastery of skills taught at the Beginner Level. The dancer is growing with more rhythms, patterns, and skills. Have a basic Understanding of musicality.
Intermediate Level - 5+ years experience
Dancers have mastered skills with solid sound quality in the Beginner and Advanced Beginner Level. Dancers are working on more complex rhythms, steps, and patterns. Dancers are introduced to and working on the mastery of tap flash steps. Dancers have a good understanding of musicality.
Advanced LeveL - 6+ years of experience
dancers have a mastery of tap fundamentals and Way Beyond with solid tap technique. Dancers can pick up steps with speed and vocal direction. Dancers have mastery of many tap flash steps and pick up new ones with minimal practice. Dancers can pick up choreography at a fast pace with minimal breakdown and review. dancers have a solid musicality foundation.
